Random Acts of Kindness Week

Kindness is not only embedded in our children – “Be Kind and Do Your Best,” it is rooted in our curriculum. As educators, we believe that fostering social and emotional development is just as important as academics.

Here at Delhi Private School, RAK, we celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week!

From 14 – 18, February 2022. The week aimed to make a concerted effort to carry out ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ and to work towards making ‘kindness the norm’ at DPS, RAK!

In Primary, we challenged everyone to complete ‘The Kindness Bingo’, a positive and uplifting program that creates a culture of kindness in schools, communities, and the world. This involved students ticking off and completing different acts of kindness during the week.

Students from all grades made thoughtful compliment cards for their beloved friends. Throughout the school, teachers and students celebrated kindness week in their unique ways.

We teach common values and character traits to children to help them develop into moral, caring, and responsible citizens. Random Acts of Kindness week is just one way we nurture kindness in children, encouraging good deeds in and outside of the classroom.
